Elite Men’s National Team athlete, Michael Testori, has been making waves in the desert – on and off the road.
On the road, Michael has been competing with his team, AirWerks, in the UAE Federation Series. The competition in Dubai is exceptionally talented – teams with a mix of amateur-level teams and former & current World Tour Pros, including riders from Team UAE Emirates. A testament to his strength, Michael has seen frequent success with his team, winning the sprint from the peloton after his team led him out – launching his sprint with 200m to the line.
The 85k 2nd race of the series started fast with constant attacks, one of which saw Michael get into the winning breakaway, ending up holding it to the line to place 3rd overall!
On the gravel scene, Michael has seen equally seen the podium, recently placing 2nd overall in a local gravel race after a less-than-ideal start left him with a lot of ground to cover. With this exciting success, we are looking forward to seeing Michael suit-up for the National Team in 2023!
