The Cayman Cycling team recently returned from the 2022 Pan American Cycling Championships in San Juan, Argentina. National Team athlete Nathaniel Forbes produced a masterclass performance, matching pace with some of the best cyclists on this side of the world.

Unfortunately, a broken frame in a crash ended his adventure, but our local Cayman community responded with support.

Financial services firm Tricor Group stepped up with an amazing gesture to provide Nathaniel with a new Argon 18 road bike, ensuring he is able to continue to train and prepare for his next event where he will be representing the Cayman Islands in the very first edition of the 2022 Caribbean Games in Guadeloupe.

Additionally, Cayman Cycling was able to assist in replacing his damaged accessories sustained in the same crash. He was provided a new Cayman Islands National Team kit, new Kask aero helmet, Sidi cycling shoes, Garmin bike computer, specialized socks and Oakley sunglasses.

Diving right back into training, Nathaniel is as focused as ever and we look forward to seeing this exciting talent represent Cayman Cycling in the region and beyond.
