Overview

Our sport is vast, diverse, and constantly evolving, but our purpose is simple – to inspire the cycling community in the Cayman Islands.

Inspiring our cycling community

Throughout the years, we have always had one main purpose – to inspire the cycling community in the Cayman Islands. We are dedicated to championing local racing, recreational cycling and our international athletes in the Cayman Islands.

Dedicated to success

The Cayman Islands Cycling Association (“Cayman Cycling”) is the governing body for cycling in the Cayman Islands and is run by a small volunteer Board of Directors who work together to promote, support and develop our sport in the Cayman Islands.

A legacy built on humble beginnings

Established in 1982, the creation of our Association was seen as the first step in developing the sport of cycling in the Cayman Islands and to champion athletes representing the sport locally and internationally. We are proud of our rich heritage and continue our journey in 2022 – our 40th Anniversary.

A passion to compete

Cayman Cycling holds affiliate memberships with the Pan American Cycling Confederation (“COPACI”) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (“UCI”). These memberships have allowed our athletes to compete and excel in some of the world’s most prestigious cycling stages, representing the country at international games and racing events at the Caribbean, Pan American, World Championship and Olympic levels.
