Cayman Cycling is pleased to introduce the 2023 Board of Directors. Elected at our Annual General Meeting on 26th January, six of the seven previous Board members returned re-elected, and we welcome a new Director, Margott Lares.
Coming from both government and private sector backgrounds, the 2023 board members bring years of experience and leadership to help address the challenges and opportunities for cycling in Cayman.
The new management for the Association is:
- Daniel Cummings – President
- Wayne Kirkconnell – 1st Vice President
- Sacha Tibbetts – 2nd Vice President
- Edward Harper – Secretary
- Gareth Van den Bergh – Treasurer
- Margott Lares – Director
- Gary Clarke – Director
Thanks went to our outgoing 1st Vice President Mr Craig Merren for his years of service and dedication to the sport of cycling over the years, as he decided to retire from the BOD and was not contending for re-election.
2023 will be the super year for cycling in Cayman. In supporting our cycling community with a variety of initiatives, Cayman Cycling will look to play a powerful role in advancing the sport both internationally, with a full calendar of overseas competitions and locally, with revamped racing and social events and developments teams spanning all abilities.
