In conjuction with the 2022 Pan American Cycling Championships in San Juan, Argentina, Cayman Cycling was represented by our President, Daniel Cummings, at the Annual Congress of the Pan American Cycling Federation (COPACI).

Celebrating it’s 100th anniversary, the congress brought together 27 national federations in the city of San Juan, Argentina, for discussion on cycling topics throughout the region and the presentation of the 2025 agenda.

One of the highlights of the gathering, was the presence of the head of the International Cycling Union (UCI), David Lappartient, who gave a overview of important cycling considerations across the globe including the vision & logistic concerns for future editions of the World Championships & Olympics, as well as the UCI’s plan for carbon neutrality by 2030.

It was a highly successful event for Cayman Cycling, establishing relationships with of the many larger nations, who were all impressed with Cayman’s passion for cycling and the ambitions for our growth.
